Young people surf at the expense of others
About 30 young people from Offenbach cracked the passwords of other people's Internet accesses and then distributed them on the Internet and at school. So they could surf the Internet for hours at the expense of others. But when the provider's customers received bills of up to DM 5000 and then canceled the bill, the providers took notice.
After researching the providers, however, the 12-20 year old youngsters were able to find it be made. The Offenbach police are currently investigating the young people. Police spokesman Georg Grebner emphasizes that the young people show no feelings of guilt.
