This low rate only drops under Windows due to a spongy control, as the mouse filter is automatically activated. If you also turn on the mouse filter in a game, you have 'only' a vague control, but then you can no longer aim precisely, which is of utmost importance in first-person shooters, especially at great distances. However, if you turn off the mouse filter in games, every game is unplayable. EachMoving the mouse jerks the screen as if the game was only running at 10 frames. For very slow and small movements, the low transfer rate between receiver and mouse is sufficient, but as soon as you make large movements, such as turning in a first-person shooter, the mouse only indicates a few points to which the mouse pointer or at Ego-Shootern the crosshair, then jumps, which creates an unbearable jerk.
