Windows XP power toys are available

Shortly before the official introduction of Windows XP Home and Professional Edition, Microsoft has now also completed the power toys for the operating system. Powertoys offer numerous new possibilities and functions that have not found their way into the operating system.

This includes Among other things, a scientific pocket calculator that outputs the graph of functions at the same time. Another not to be despised program of the Powertoys, which is a collection of a total of 11 small applications and extensions, is the Virtual Desktop Manager. It allows you to quickly switch back and forth between a total of four different desktops, each of which can have its own background. This feature, which is certainly not new for Linux users, allows you to open a few web browsers on a virtual desktop, for example, while a few office applications are being run on another desktop. The TweakUI program, now in version 2.0, has also found its way into power toys. As already known from older versions, it offers the possibility of changing various settings anchored in the operating system. Here you can also specify, for example, that a user is automatically logged in when the system is started. You can download the Powertoys for Windows XP from our server.
