Windows Whistler Beta is coming blad

The merging of Windows Millennium and Windows 2000 will result in a total of 4 Windows Whistler operating systems: Personal Edition, Professional Edition, Server Edition and the 64-bit versions of Professional and Server. All these 4 'sub-operating systems' will participate in the beta test from the beginning and should therefore be published at the same time.

According to the beta test guru Paul Thurrott, the Windows code name Whistler beta test has to be kept to a very tight schedule, as the finished product should be ready in April 2001. The merger of Windows Millennium and Windows 2000 will result in a total of 4 Windows Whistler operating systems: Personal Edition, Professional Edition, Server Edition and the 64-bit versions of Professional and Server. All these 4 'sub-operating systems' will take part in the beta test from the beginning and should therefore be published at the same time. Although the prices are not yet known, it is reasonable to assume that the prices will correspond to their current placeholders (for Personal Edition this is e.g. Win98SE).
