VIA brings C3 processor with 933MHz

VIA today announced the new C3 processor with a clock rate of 933MHz. This is the third stage of the Ezra C3 processor, which is manufactured in 0.13 µm. The processor is characterized by its low heat development, not least due to the advanced manufacturing process.

The low power consumption also speaks for itself. Furthermore, the C3 processor comes with a 128KB level 1 and a 64KB level 2 Therefore cache. It is fully compatible with Intel's Socket 370, runs with a front side bus of 100 or 133 MHz and supports the extended multimedia instruction sets MMX and 3DNow !. The new C3 processor with a clock rate of 933MHz is already being manufactured in large numbers and, like its predecessors, will find its place primarily in highly integrated PCs in the OEM market. VIA announces official prices only on direct request.
