Turbo planned for T-DSL
From autumn on, Telekom wants to finally offer a faster version of its T-DSL access. With 1.5 Mbit/s downstream and 192 Kbit/s upstream, things get down to business. This variant has been around for a long time, but in the Business Online Package, which also requires a switch to the Business Call telephone tariff.
In addition, this business package only contains a maximum free data transfer volume of 1 GByte. What the new access should cost has not yet been determined, and Telekom is still silent. There will be an additional variant of the Business Online package already mentioned, the Business Online 2300 tariff. The speed will then be 2.3 Mbit/s downstream and 256 Kbit/s upstream. However, it will contain a free data transfer volume of 5 GB. Monthly costs are estimated at 43 euros, of course only in connection with the Business Call telephone tariff in the package. From the fourth quarter onwards, Telekom intends to offer business customers a symmetrical DSL connection (SDSL). Access, which is not tied to a telephone connection, should be available at speeds of 256KBit/s to 2 MBit/s.
