Thermaltake presents Xaser VI
The manufacturer Thermaltake, known for its cooling and - often the spirits - housing solutions, is trying to appeal to enthusiasts in particular with its new tower called Xaser VI. There is a choice of silver/black or black/red.
There are models of both color variants with transparent side windows and built-in water cooling, consisting of radiator, pump, tank, hose and radiator block. The material of all models is aluminum throughout. An extendable mainboard slide, the adjustable power supply bridge and the removable hard drive cage are intended to facilitate the installation of the respective components. The latter should of course be well cooled, which is why a 140mm VGA or front cooler, another 140mm fan on the top and a 120mm LED fan in the rear area are already integrated. Optionally, two additional fans can be placed on the floor, which should improve the air flow. The cable management system is also conducive to this, but is also relevant from an optical point of view, provided that a clean impression of the interior is important.
In the front there are four USB ports, an HD audio input and a FireWire port also two eSATA ports. In addition to ten PCI slots, the case also offers seven drive bays each in the formats 5.25 'and 3.5'. The common motherboard standards (micro) ATX and extended ATX are supported for the form factors. An information page specially set up for this purpose has already been put online. The prices for the new series correspond to the extravagant additions. From 01.01.2008 the black/red version will be available in stores for 214 euros, for the silver/black versionare even due 243 euros.
