The smallest digicam in the world

Sony has presented a prototype of a digital still camera weighing just 26 grams (plus 7 grams of battery) in Japan. With its dimensions of just 2 x 6 x 1 cm³, it would be the smallest digital camera in the world that, as far as the memory is concerned, doesn't even have to hide behind its big brothers.

A full 64MB fit on the memory Stick, which is currently still in development and should then hold 1000 images (the quality of which, however, cannot be very good given this amount). The camera will probably not be on the market until the end of 2001 and will certainly have its price.
