The notebook as a charging station

The company Psion Dacom wants to bring an adapter called 'Charge Link' onto the market at the beginning of May, with which one can charge the batteries of cell phones and organizers via the notebook. This is really a useful invention, because then you no longer have to carry a bulky and usually heavy power supply with every device.

This is really a useful invention, because you no longer have to carry a bulky and usually heavy power supply with every device. It is sufficient if you have a 'Gold Card Global' or 'Gold Card NetGlobal' PC card in your notebook. The adapter will cost 99 marks and will support the Psion Revo organizer and Nokia 6100 and 5100 series phones in two versions. Fortunately, there will also be adapters for other palmtop and handheld computers and cell phones from Ericsson and Motorola, which will appear on the market a little later.
