The first rescue operations for ELSA have started

After Elsa filed for bankruptcy two days ago due to insolvency, the first rescue attempts are already underway. The insolvency administrator Thomas Georg from the law firm Mönning & Georg emphasized that work is being carried out on the continuation of the company.

The first priority must be the restoration of solvency in order to be able to fulfill upcoming orders and pay suppliers. A conversation with the creditor banks is the next step. Seven of the eight banks did not want to extend their loan of 28 million euros, another bank whose loan of 10 million euros is due in March refused to extend it. The spokesman for Elsa AG expressed himself optimistically that he would be able to continue running the company.
