The 'Explorer' is worth money
The legal dispute continues over the link to the 'FTP Explorer' program. After the Düsseldorf Regional Court ruled that a link to the FTP Explorer does not infringe the rights of Symicron, this judgment does not become final.
As expected, the lawyer for the Ratinger company, Günter Freiherr von Gravenreuth, appealed on behalf of his client. The company Symicron had the name 'Explorer' protected for itself in 1995, and for some time now the company has had its lawyer send warnings to companies and Internet providers who either violate the trademark protection of their clients themselves or just set a link to such a website . This dubious method has now dealt with several courts and will probably also go through a few other instances. Since the critics and opponents of this warning practice doubt that a program called 'Eplorer' was ever sold by the Symicron company, a reward has been offered in the event that someone can provide evidence of having purchased this program.
