T-Online is launching chargeable offers
Germany's largest Internet provider T-Online announced a few months ago that it would in future only make part of the website content accessible for a surcharge. It is now possible to register for the offer called 'T-Online Contents and Services'.
As T-Online announced in a press release this morning, the first step is to select “well-known partners” in the areas of business, entertainment, sport and wellness '. After the free registration, for which you need a T-Online web password, you have to install a program on your computer at home, which is a mandatory requirement for using the content. However, customers of other providers are excluded from the offer from the outset.
Billing is not based on a monthly fixed price, but depending on the price after using the offer. For example, the last three of the four levels of the shooter game 'Werner and the revenge of the hedgehog' will cost 1.50 euros. The first level can be played for free after successfully registering. Similar taster offers are also available in the areas of business, sport and wellness for a free look. For example, for € 17.90 you can get information about the background and trends on the stock exchanges twice a week. A single issue costs EUR 2.90. The customer is informed about chargeable offers in order not to blindly drive up the costs of the next telephone bill through which the new service is billed. Further information is available for those interested on on this page , where you can also register.
