SYSTEMS: New Fritz card from AVM
The new Fritz! Card DSL is a combination card to which both ISDN and ADSL can be connected. The additional modem previously required for ADSL is no longer necessary, the card is connected directly to the splitter.
The card has the familiar functions of the Fritz! Card such as channel bundling, PC fax, remote access and the possibility of to wake up the computer from sleep mode after a call. The Fritz! Software has also been expanded and now offers two new programs, Fritz! Web DSL and ADSL Watch, in order to take full advantage of the ADSL functions. AVM is thus optimally prepared for January 1st, 2002, from then on the customer can choose the necessary end devices himself, as with ISDN, appropriately sponsored offers for new ADSL customers can be expected.
