SuSE Linux 8.0 appears just in time for CeBIT
The new SuSE Linux 8.0 distribution will be presented on March 13 at CeBIT in Hanover. Since SuSE has omitted version 7.4, one can look forward to a lot. An updated distribution is usually released every quarter. Rumors about the range of functions are already circulating, although SuSE is still keeping a low profile on its website
SuSE 8.0 is said to contain new configuration modules that are built into YAST2. As usual, SuSE will stick to the equipment. Seven CD-ROMs, DVD and extensive documentation will be included. You can take part in a distribution competition on the SuSE website. You can win a designer PC mouse.
