Surf now also on the express train
In the land of unlimited possibilities there have been three express trains since yesterday, Thursday, in which passengers can surf the Internet. Services and content come from Yahoo. The hardware is supplied by Compaq so that guests in the new dining cars and train compartments can surf the web with the iPaq from Compaq.
From the outside, the trains are lightly in the familiar corporate colors of Yahoo , purple and Yellow to see. The service is offered free of charge for the first six months by the American railroad company Amtrak on the following routes: Boston-New York-Washington DC, Sacramento-Oakland-San Jose and Chicago-Milwaukee. According to Amtrak's vice president of sales and marketing, Cyndi Darlington, the new interactive trains will make traveling 'more enjoyable and productive'.
