Soon no more Dreamcast?
In Japan it is reported that Sega plans to stop producing Dreamcast consoles by the end of March this year. The reason for this step should be the losses of the past few years.
For the fourth year in a row Sega has closed with losses, which are mainly caused by Dreamcast. For the time being, Sega will continue to market the console until stocks are reduced and Sega also wants to continue developing games for the time being. In addition, Sega is said to have made an agreement with Sony, according to which they will soon also produce games for the Playstation 2. Similar agreements regarding the X-Box are said to have been made with Microsoft. Sega has neither denied nor confirmed the rumors.
