Sonnet announces superuser
The flat rate provider Sonnet cancels all users who are online for 15-24 hours, mostly inactive, because these users allegedly occupy 80% of the network capacity and thus make it difficult for other users to dial. Sonnet wants to enable a problem-free dial-in again.
However, it is the case that Sonnet has seriously misjudged the surfing times of the users, because before the introduction of the flat rate, Sonnet had expected that their flat rate customers would 3- Would be online 4 hours a day. Now, like Surf1, Sonnet is likely to face financial difficulties from the power users, since the providers still have to pay minute-based fees to Telekom. If nothing changes, only one provider will offer a flat rate in the future, namely T-Online.
