SiS Xabre 400 is faster than GeForce4 MX 460
With the Xabre chipset, SiS has apparently made a good hit, so the Xabre400 chip on a triplex graphics card was able to clearly relegate the GeForce4 MX440 and MX460 graphics cards tested for comparison in 3DMark 2001SE to their places and take first place.
As can be seen from the pictures of the colleagues from VR-Zone, the triplex graphics card achieved a decent 6228 3DMarks on a system with SiS645 board and Pentium4 1.8 GHz, although it can still be assumed that the Driver does not get the maximum performance out of the graphics chip. It is also interesting that the Xabre400 even overtakes the MX460, although according to its own marketing statement, the Xabre600 should compete against the MX460. In the middle price segment there is apparently a new contender to the throne, which is the first to support AGP 8x and, besides the ATi RV250, is the only DirectX 8 graphics chip in this price range.
