Service Rollup Package for Windows 2000
After the long-awaited Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000 was released in May of last year, several bugs were still uncovered. However, Microsoft is obviously of the opinion that it is not yet possible to put together a third service pack and therefore offers a service rollup package for SP2.
So it should be certain that Service Pack 3 will be a little longer in coming. However, if you want to keep your arithmetic servant up to date, you shouldn't miss this update, as it naturally also fills some security gaps. As usual with the service packs, the SRP software access also offers two different variants, express and network installation. With the latter, a 16.4MB archive is loaded from the web, whereas with the Express variant, only the files actually required are retrieved. Amazingly, the downloads are already available in German, apparently Microsoft does not want to let its customers zap for as long as it does with numerous publications of other programs.
