Replacement of Ron Sommer no longer ruled out
After Chancellor Schröder stood behind Ron Sommer a few weeks ago, Economics Minister Werner Müller has now spoken out. This no longer rules out a replacement of the Telekom boss. He said of the Hamburg magazine 'stern' that the fall in the price of the T-share undoubtedly caused fidelity.
Severe disappointment among investors is a fact and the anger among small investors is 'only too understandable'. A replacement in summer is a matter for the supervisory board, so Müller. This would be 'stupid' to speculate publicly if there were any considerations to replace the summer. The federal government itself has only been represented by one member on the supervisory board for a long time.
