Red Hat Linux 7.1 released

Red Hat has now released version 7.1 of its Linux distribution. The most important innovations are the kernel 2.4, the graphical user interface KDE 2.1.1 and XFree 4.0.3, which now also has anti-aliasing support. The installation routine has been improved, among other things, so that a laptop installation class is now also available.

With this, support for PCMCIA cards is automatically installed. In addition, Red Hat has donated some new configuration tools to its distribution, which should simplify administration.
