Prolink announces GeForce4 Ti4200 cards
Prolink is the first manufacturer to announce a graphics card with a GeForce4 Ti4200 chip. There will be two variants here, which differ in terms of memory expansion and memory clock rate. The 128MB variant is operated with a 250 MHz chip and 222MHz memory clock.
In the small version with 64MB graphics memory, the memory runs with a clock of 250 MHz (500MHz DDR). This results in a memory bandwidth of 7.1GB/s for the 128MB and 8.0GB/s for the 64MB version, which means that Prolink fully adheres to the specifications of NVidia. However, Prolink could not name the prices for the PixelView GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB or PixelView GeForce4 Ti4200 64MB.
The performance that can be expected from the GeForce 4 Ti4200 in the 128MB version, we have in our Asus GeForce4 Ti4400 and Ti4600 review shown.
