GL Excess actually only makes very low demands on the hardware and thus achieves very high frame rates of over 400 frames per second. But this is not necessarily at the expense of the scenes shown, as there are some quite remarkable effects.

Old picture under 16Bit, the Radeon doesn’t beat the competition. But this time it doesn't look much better even with 32Bit. The gap is getting significantly smaller, but the GeForce2 Pro and Ti are still significantly faster than the Radeon 7500.
