PowerMagic ATI Radeon 7500 in the test: The old middle class re-drilled
The big brother of the 3DMark 2000 is primarily designed for DirectX 8 features, which so far have only been used by GeForce3 cards. With the predecessors, only partially good results can be expected. This benchmark is an indication of the performance of the graphics cards in future games.
The Radeon 7500, both the GeForce2 Pro and the GeForce2 Ti are defeated here as well, albeit much more tightly than before. In 32Bit, it turns the result back in its favor and sets itself apart from the Ti and Pro even more clearly in the higher resolutions. Against the GeForce3 Ti200, of course, it has no chance, as it is at home in a different price and performance class.
