PowerMagic ATI Radeon 7500 in the test: The old middle class re-drilled
Originally, this benchmark was developed by PowerVR and was used to illustrate the advantages of the Kyro2, since the overdraw in VillageMark is particularly large. This means that most graphics cards also calculate the objects that are hidden by others and therefore actually do not have to be calculated.
In 16Bit the Radeon 7500 can this time the GeForce2 Stand out Pro, but does not quite come close to the GeForce2 Ti.
At 32Bit another completely different picture. The Radeon 7500 can clearly set itself apart from the GeForce2 Pro and Ti in all resolutions. As in 3DMark 2000, it is also noticeable here that the Radeon 7500 breaks less sharply in 32-bit compared to the Nvidia cards. However, this is more likely to be attributed to the poor 16-bit performance than to a particularly good 32-bit.
