PowerBook G4 with Nvidia graphics chip
The next generation of Apple's PowerBook, codenamed Mercury, will be equipped with a graphics chip from Nvidia and no longer with a chip from ATI, as was previously the case. The better performance of the Geforce 2 should have been decisive for this.
The next PowerBook that will be equipped with the G4 processor will therefore contain a Geforce 2, probably the Geforce 2 Go. The card will be equipped with 16 MB VRAM and can calculate 17 million polygons/s and 286 million pixels/s.
