Possible clock rates of future ATI chips
If you can believe the one user of the Rage3D forums, there will be three new graphics chips from ATI this year. We mean the r250, r300 and r350. This information should be in a developer document from ATI.
Cards with the r250 should have 128 Mbytes of memory, which, like the chip, is clocked at 350 MHz. It will be presented at CeBIT. The r300, which appears in the middle of the second quarter, should be clocked at 400 MHz, just like the memory. In the last quarter of the year, the fastest of them all, the r350, will be announced. The chip clock should be 450 MHz. The last two chips are to be manufactured using the 0.13 micron manufacturing process. Of course, this information could simply have been made up by someone.
