Portable memory up to 512MB
With the 'USB Disk 2.0', Legend QDI, known as a motherboard manufacturer, is now entering the market for portable storage media. The main difference between 'USB Disk 2.0' and the other technologies is its read/write protection and weather resistance.
The 'USB Disk 2.0', which weighs only 15 grams, will be available in 5 different sizes. Starting with 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB up to 256 MB. These tiny things are written with 600 KByte/s, read from them with just under 1 MByte/s, exactly 950 KByte/s. As a custom-made product, there will be an even larger variant that can hold half a gigabyte (512 MB) of data. Fortunately, special drivers are not necessary. Simply plug it into the USB port and off you go. Not even the platform plays a role, whether Windows, Linux or MacOS, the tiny memory can be connected anywhere and operated without a driver. Data protection was also considered, so the 'USB Disk 2.0' should include hardware password protection.
