Pioneer introduces DVD/CD-R burners

At this year's CEBIT (March 22-28, 2001) Pioneer is presenting an absolute world first. The device not only burns conventional CD-R but also DVD-R, which are fully compatible with DVD-ROM and DVD video players

Besides complete systems, sales as a single device are also planned. Pioneer wants to present a very large program at CEBIT this year and present the entire know-how of recent years. These include home cinema systems with plasma displays in 16: 9 format, the smallest mobile DVD player in the world, and the latest 16-fold DVD-ROM drive, which we have already reported on. Pioneer also wants to introduce the new DVD-V7300D DVD player, the first professional DVD player with serial control and frame-accurate positioning. We can also look forward to the presentation of the new plasma screens in 40 and 50 inch sizes, which will be shown there together with technology partners.
