As a representative of professional 3D rendering programs, we also chose Cinemark 1.0 in addition to the more theoretical application Spec ViewPerf 6.1.2. This benchmark is divided into three parts and lets the processor with and without the support of the graphics card render various 3D scenes.

On average, the Pentium 4 can achieve 6 percent performanceincrease. In two out of three tests that is enough for a management position. Only in OpenGL shading, where the predecessors didn't look particularly good, is the Athlon XP 2000+ the measure of all things. The Pentium 4 2.4 shares second place with the Athlon XP 1900+.
