Operating systems of ComputerBase.de Surfer

Not really earth-shattering news, but quite interesting: The internal statistics of the operating systems used by CB visitors. This result is certainly not representative, as our 'audience' comes too one-sidedly from the corner of 'hardware and software enthusiasts'.

The only just missed, absolute majority of Windows XP can be seen as impressive. On the one hand, the system does not seem to be as hated as it is often and in many places suggested. On the other hand, it is astonishing that the system has been at an almost identically high level since it was published, although sales worldwide fell short of expectations and only slowly got underway.

A certificate of indignation is also required Windows ME will be awarded among our visitors. The last place, still behind Linux and Mac OS, should speak a clear language about the quality and popularity of the system. Even Windows 95, which can be classified as ancient and not exactly a guarantee of stability and compatibility, can clearly put its multimedia successor in its place.
