Opera 6.0 is here
In the fight against the market leaders Microsoft and Netscape, Opera has now made version 6.0 of its Internet browser available for download. The beta version was only released two weeks ago, obviously there was little to do until the final.
A lot has happened with Opera, so there is now also the option of Microsoft Internet Explorer ( IE) and Netscape Navigator familiar 1-window view. There is also a personal bar that can be placed anywhere on one side of the window and, among other things, accepts favorites, which can also be dragged and dropped into the bar. Otherwise, the Opera masters Unicode for the first time and supports the automatic proxy configuration as well as the import of Outlook Express mail. The Opera 6 can be downloaded here from the manufacturer's website.
