One in ten internet users already pays for internet services

A study by the magazine 'Online Today' has shown that 11 percent of Internet users already pay for Internet services. As it is said, a further 28 percent are basically willing to do so, with the greatest willingness to be found with entertainment offers such as films, music and games.

Here, 61 percent of those surveyed would be willing to spend money, in the age group between 14 and 14 29-year-olds even 80 percent. 60 percent of those surveyed were willing to spend money on magazine archives, 58 percent for news and exclusive information and 44 percent for e-mail services. As can be seen from the example of Napster, it is extremely questionable whether the willingness for companies also pays off in cash if the mentioned services are also available for free elsewhere.
