Office XP ready

Microsoft already surprisingly released Office XP for production on Friday (RTM, Release to Manufacturing). Office XP is the successor to Office 2000 and should be on the shelves internationally at the end of May.

Office XP caused a stir in advance, because it has to be registered on the hardware at Microsoft after 50 starts at the latest. Here the product key is bound to the own hardware. If you replace individual components, you have to reactivate Office. How tolerant it will be when replacing components is not yet known. Office XP will probably be activated twice over the Internet and then only by phone.
