Nvidia with delivery bottlenecks
X-bit labs reports that Nvidia is currently struggling with severe delivery problems for the TNT2 M64, GeForce2 MX200 and MX400 graphics chips. Some manufacturers are said to have already considered switching to the competition in order not to have any disadvantages in the upcoming Christmas business.
According to ATI, the Radeon 8500LE should be produced by at least 13 manufacturers, for example. In response to this, Nvidia has now reduced the prices of these three graphics chips, as the competition sometimes offers significantly cheaper variants. So far, nothing of this has been noticed on the market, neither from the delivery bottlenecks nor the price reductions.
