Nvidia presents Quadro4 graphics cards

Yesterday Nvidia presented its Quadro4 graphics cards, the professional versions with GeForce 4 GPU, which are specially designed for CAD/CAM, but this is mainly due to the corresponding driver support.

The Japanese colleagues from Gzeasy already have pictures of the new models. The top model is the Quadro4 900 XGL, which is equipped with 128 MB RAM and can calculate up to 60 million triangles per second. There are also the Quadro 4 750 XGL, Quadro4 700 XGL, Quadro4 550XGL and the Quadro4 500 XGL. A total of five models in the XGL family, with the last three only having 64 MB memory.

Then there are two models from the NVS family, the Quadro4 200NVS and the Quadro4 400NVS, the intended for multi-screen operation. Several monitors can be connected to both cards, two for the 200NVS and four for the 400NVS; the latter also has two GPUs. It is also noticeable that it is a PCI card, but it is a PCI 66 port that is only available on special mainboards.
