nVidia plans to revise the nForce chipset series
As the Asian online magazine DigiTimes claims to have found out, nVidia will be launching the nForce chipset series in a slightly revised form on the market in the near future. As VIA has been practicing for years, this will bridge the gap between two completely new versions.
The extent to which the improvements will move is not yet known. Certainly, however, the memory interface should receive a revision. In June, the nForce2 (code name 'Crush17') will appear on the market, also not yet officially confirmed. It will then probably support memory standards like DDR333 or even DDR400. With the SiS748, SiS has already announced a chip with 400Mhz Ram support.
