nVidia GeForce4 Ti4200 is coming in April
Along with the announcement of the worldwide availability of GeForce4 Ti cards, nVidia also put the GeForce4 Ti 4200 in its mouth for the first time, confirming statements that the first graphics cards with this chip will be on the market by the end of April.
This is interesting because nVidia still does not officially have the smallest GeForce4 Ti 4200 in its range. Compared to its big brothers, the chip clock is only 225 MHz compared to the GeForce4 Ti4600 with 300 MHz and 275 MHz for the GeForce4 Ti4400. The memory clock is also 500 below that of the larger versions (650MHz, 550 MHz). Among other things, we can expect cards from Leadtek and Inno3D, although other manufacturers will of course also jump on the bandwagon to replace their existing GeForce3 cards with this model.
The large versions, GeForce4 Ti4600 and 4400 as well The complete range of GeForce4 MX4 boards (460, 440 and 420) should be available in stores from a wide range of manufacturers with immediate effect. For example, Leadtek is already one of the manufacturers who, as we were informed, already deliver their GeForce4 Ti4600 graphics card ( see also ) in large quantities to Germany. Others will follow shortly.
