In contrast to its big brother, it only has 2 pixel pipelines (GeForce 2 GTS has 4). Accordingly, the performance with single textures will be roughly that of the GeForce DDR, with multi-texturing the GeForce 2 MX will be able to draw, but is still below the performance of the GeForce 2 GTS. The cards will use SDRAM modules clocked at 166Mhz. All in all, the GeForce 2 MX is more similar (in relation to the GeForce 2 GTS) to the TNT2 M64, whose performance was partially on par with the predecessor.
