NV15 is now called GeForce 2 GTS
The new graphics chip from nVidia, previously known under the code name NV15, will be called GeForce2 GTS. The clock of the chip should be between 180 and 200MHz.
The new NV15 graphics chip from Nvidia is almost finished and accordingly more precise information comes to light. The new chip will be called 'GeForce 2 GTS' and have a clock rate between 180 and 200MHz. As reported earlier, the chip supports between 32 and 64 MB DDR memory, but can also use other types of memory. The maximum filling rate is 1600 million pixels per second, which is four times faster than the current Geforce256 chip. This means that we can expect 80 FPS in Quake 3, with a resolution of 1024x768 in 32-bit color and the T&L functions have also been expanded and improved.
