Nintendo cuts price for Gamecube

After Microsoft has already admitted sales problems and reduced the price, Nintendo is now lowering the price of the Gamecube before the market launch. The Gamecube will now cost 199 euros when it is launched on May 3, 2002, the plan was previously 249 euros.

This means that Nintendo continues to offer the cheapest game console - the Playstation 2 from Sony still costs 299 euros and the Xbox from Microsoft from April 26th, also 299 euros, after having previously asked for 479 euros.
