New Rambus modules announced

The memory manufacturer Rambus has announced RDRAM modules with a bandwidth of 2.1 GB/second per second. This value is achieved by increasing the clock frequency by 33% from 800MHz to 1.06GHz.

However, the price of the memory modules is still well over 1000DM, which is why, in my opinion, Intel is moving away from the Rambus memory technology has taken the only logical step in future chipsets.
