New Napster client
The music exchange platform Napster today released a new client with the version number 2.0 beta 10.2. Probably the biggest innovation is the support of the 'digital fingerprinting' technology, which was only licensed in April, which is supposed to optimize the identification of legal and illegal music files again.
The update to the new client will therefore in all probability be a further cut into the already very meager remaining offer of the MP3 community. However, a number of bugs and weaknesses have been fixed in Beta 10.2. Above all, 'transfer errors' and 'timeouts' should be prevented for the most part. All that remains for the user is to weigh up the benefits and costs. Those who have decided can find the clients for Windows and Mac here .
