New Linux drivers from nVidia
After a short break, the guys from nVidia have again published new official drivers for Linux, which for the first time offer support for their own mainboard chipset called nForce. In addition to bug fixes, AMD support has also been significantly improved.
The driver also offers OpenGL 1.3 with nVidia extension, improved Viewperf and Quake performance, as well as optimized multi-threaded support. The driver package is available for download from the nVidia website for numerous Linux distributions.
