Netscape 6.2 is available
As expected, Netscape has now released the folder named Netscape 6.2, which was discovered last week, and has thus given the starting signal for a new version of their browser. As usual since version 6.0, it is based on the Gecko engine that emerged from the open source project Mozilla.
This is currently still in development. At the moment you have reached version 0.95 of the Mozilla browser, which, however, is not used in the new Netscape. Unfortunately, Netscape still uses the older version 0.94. Nevertheless, the two programs are very similar. However, the Netscape browser is still equipped with some extra tools, such as the Netscape Instant Messenger. The latest version, which is currently available in English and German, can be downloaded from Netscape. There you will also find further details about the program.
