Napster restart is delayed

The music exchange platform Napster will probably not be able to start its subscription service on July 1, 2001 as planned. At least that's what some American press reports say.

It also says that the start will take place sometime this summer. Obviously, the completion of the software has been delayed, because the beta testers have not yet heard of the start of the test phase. In the meantime, Bertelsmann itself is no longer talking about July 1st as the start date, but about summer 2001. Since autumn does not begin until September 23rd, Napster should be able to keep this date.
