Mozilla 1.1 Beta is available for testing

After an alpha version of Mozilla 1.1 was released 6 weeks ago, the development team has now released a beta version with some changes for download. Among other things, a new button for opening new browser tabs should improve user-friendliness.

The most extensive changes to the browser with integrated mail and IRC client, on the other hand, has experienced the integrated JavaScript debugger, the layout of which can now be completely adapted by the user to individual preferences. Web designers can look forward to an improved rendering engine and increased compatibility with the various standards. In addition, Linux users can now also enjoy full-screen mode. The bug fixes mainly include inadequacies in the use of the Arabic or Hebrew language.

According to the current roadmap, the final 1.1 release should be available for download in 2 weeks. At the same time, the release of version 1.0.2 can be found on the roadmap, which, like version 1.0.1 (which has been three weeks behind schedule), is supposed to be a bugfix release of the stable 1.0 version.
