Motorola is cutting 7,000 more jobs
Motorola has announced that it will cut another 7,000 jobs. This means that a total of 39,000 employees have recently been parted with. In this year alone, every fourth job was deleted without replacement.
4000 jobs were lost through the sale of individual divisions and the rest is achieved by filling vacant positions and dismissing many employees. Motorola expects a loss of four to five cents per share this year. But already in the third quarter you had to accept the loss of seven cents per share. In stark contrast were the results of last year, when the company gained 28 cents per share in the third quarter.
