Microsoft with new mice
In contrast to Logitech, Microsoft has significantly increased the accuracy of the sensors in the two new models. It is now 6000 images/s, three times as much so far. These mice are also only available as a cable version for the time being.
As with Logitech, whose mouse uses two sensors, Microsoft wants to improve the handling of the mice by increasing the accuracy of the sensor. These are the Intellimouse Explorer and the Intellimouse Optical. Both models are wired and can communicate with the PC via USB or PS/2 connection. The optical model is suitable for both right- and left-handers and will be available from November for DM 99.00. Due to its curved shape, the Explorer is only suitable for right-handers; it will be available in stores as early as October for DM 129.
