Micron is suing Rambus
You shouldn't throw stones when you're sitting in a glass house. A few weeks ago, Rambus sued various SDRAM manufacturers such as Infineon, Hitachi, Toshiba and Micron. The latter is now striking back.
The reasons for this include violating antitrust laws, violating American monopoly and antitrust regulations and invoking invalid patents. Micron countered in contrast to Hitachi and Toshiba, which reached an out-of-court settlement with Rambus and paid an unknown sum. Infineon, on the other hand, had announced that it would not come to an out-of-court settlement with Rambus.
